Yesterday we held our Christmas function for our wonderful members.

Every year we send a few of our announcers to the South Australian Community Broadcasting Association's "Bilby Awards". This year our programming team decided to create our own awards.... The WOMBY AWARDS. A great way to reward our announcers for their amazing efforts and dedication to our station. Everyone's a winner here and congratulations to all recipients.

We all had a fantastic afternoon.

This AusMusic Month (1-30 November) listeners are being called to their algorithm by searching for, listening to, faving and saving Australian acts wherever possible.

Community broadcasters are already important platforms for Aussie music, with around a third of listeners saying that's why they tune into the community radio every week.

However with many fans also using multiple online platforms to find their music it is harder than ever for Australian acts to break through the noise.

Your listeners can do their part by requesting their favourite local acts and engaging with stations' local music programming.
