I’ve got three new vessel dolls waiting for me when I get home (114 days in hospital so far).
The one I’m looking forward to is from Waverley hills lunatic asylum. The one below is About 14 inches tall in good condition for being vintage. Used and found at Manteno asylum  before demolishment.

The accompanying caption (which matches almost verbatim across posts) tells an emotional, heartwarming story:
• A family had a beloved elderly Golden Retriever nearing the end of his life.
• To comfort him, they moved his bed into their bedroom so he wouldn’t be alone.
• One night, the dog quietly got up, walked to the living room couch, and passed away peacefully in his sleep (interpreted as him sparing his owners the pain of watching his final moments).
• Later, while reviewing home security camera footage to understand the timeline/events, the family noticed a glowing orb of light appearing around 3:30 a.m., seemingly rising from the dog’s body and drifting upward/out of frame.
• To the grieving family, this was interpreted as the dog’s soul or spirit peacefully ascending to the afterlife — bringing them comfort and a sense of closure that their “good boy” had crossed over safely.
• Skeptics (mentioned in many reposts) attribute it to mundane explanations like dust particles catching infrared light, lens flare, a camera artifact, reflection, or even a bug/insect.
