5 Mistakes I Made When Starting My Online Business (So You Don’t Have To!)

Starting an online business was one of the best decisions I ever made—but let’s be real, I made plenty of mistakes along the way! Here are 5 things I wish I knew when I started:

1️⃣ Trying to do it all alone – I thought I had to figure everything out myself, but having mentorship & community support made all the difference.

2️⃣ Waiting until I "felt ready" – Spoiler alert: You’ll never feel 100% ready! Progress comes from action, not overthinking.

3️⃣ Not being consistent – I posted when I 'felt' like it (so so at times) instead of using a system that is proven to work. Consistency is what builds momentum.

4️⃣ Overcomplicating everything – I thought success had to be hard, but the truth is…simple strategies work best.

5️⃣ Caring too much about what others think – Once I stopped worrying about judgment, I started attracting the right people into my business!

This week, I was blessed with a beautiful grandson who has completely melted my heart. Thank you to my incredible daughter, who made me a mum and has now given me the joy of becoming a Glammy. For the past week, we’ve had the absolute pleasure of loving and getting to know this precious little one.

I treasure those late-night calls where I get to come over, give you a break, and spend quiet, snuggly moments with him. Being a mum was everything I ever dreamed of, but becoming a grandma is something I didn’t realize I needed—it’s everything and so much more. To my dear daughter, I’m sorry you bear the worries and stresses of motherhood while I get to revel in the pure joy of our little boy.

Laker, I promise to always be here for you, to love you unconditionally, and to be your biggest supporter. My heart overflows with love for you, my sweet grandson. Love always, Glammy.
