Last year we watched the sun rise here and this year we came back for the sunset 🧡💛

WA weather kept us guessing with plenty of cloud coverage, but nothing could take away from the beauty of Charles Knife Canyon. What made it even more incredible was how quickly everything changed 🌅 Every single photo here was taken within about 15 minutes, yet the sky and lighting looked completely different in each one. Some bright, some moody, some soft and pastel. Nature really put on a show 🫶🏼

Of all the places we’ve explored, this remains one of the most memorable. Some views just never get old!

“The open road, the endless sky, and the people who make it all worth it.”

A day that will live rent free in our heads for the rest of our lives. 🪸🦈

It’s not often you get the chance to experience something truly life changing, but swimming alongside whale sharks was exactly that. With the kids happily hanging out with Nan and Pop, we took the opportunity to spoil ourselves with a day we’ll never forget. Watching these gentle giants glide effortlessly through the deep blue was humbling, emotional and completely surreal.

One of those moments that makes you stop and think, “Did that really just happen?” 🌊🥹 And if it’s even remotely possible for you to do it, book the tour! Don’t overthink it. Don’t wait for the perfect time.

It will be worth every single cent 🩵

🍂 Our second autumn spent on the Ningaloo. The adventures, the chaos & all the moments of cyclone season in between 🌀

Western Australia’s beauty never fails to amaze us. To think we arrived here last March and are still here, exploring up and down this incredible coastline, feels like a dream.

From reef days and red dirt adventures to slow home school mornings and unforgettable sunsets, we’re soaking up every moment of this wild and beautiful chapter.

29.5 🩵
Not our wedding date.
Not the date our babies were born.
But the date we became “us”.
& really, I can’t think of a more important date than the one that started it all.

Five Fingers Reef adventures with the travel fam 🤿🪸
Drift snorkelling across the coral formations, the most colourful fish everywhere you looked and turtles cruising through the reef 🐢 Finished the day with sandy feet and a beach BBQ, it doesn’t get much better than this!

If the cyclone hadn’t hit Ningaloo, we never would’ve found one of our favourite camps on the WA coast 🩵 Steven’s Camp on the Waroora Coast and wow… this place will stay with us for a long time 🫶🏼

We lucked out with the most incredible weather window which meant days spent snorkelling crystal clear water with turtles and sunsets that genuinely stopped us in our tracks.

Steven’s Camp is around 40kms from the station entry, so once we hit the dirt road we aired down straight away and took our time in. The camp itself felt so peaceful. Huge sites, plenty of privacy and we ended up with the absolute best neighbours too Communal dinners and movie nights with some of our fav travel fam made this spot even more special 🐟🥗🍿🎥

Definitely one of those places that reminds you why we love this lifestyle so much 🤍

Our kids hit the jackpot with you 💛
The way you love, nurture, teach and care for Reagan and Oakley is something truly special. You make motherhood look effortless even on the hard days and our family wouldn’t be what it is without you at the centre of it all.

Thank you for being our safe place, our biggest supporter and the heart behind every memory we make. Happy Mother’s Day babe ✨

That unmistakable Bullara buzz was back from the moment we rolled in 🐂

After the heartbreak and chaos left behind by Cyclone Narelle, being there for reopening burger night felt really special. The station was full of red dirt covered kids, travellers gathered under the lights and that unmistakable Bullara warmth still shining through it all!

The energy was contagious and you could feel just how grateful everyone was to be part of the very first guests welcomed back through the gates 🤎 Our days started slowly with sunrise cappuccinos, hugs from our travel fam and fresh baked pies & scones. All the good stuff that makes you feel at home 🏠 This property will always be one of our highlights of WA and honestly the magic hasn’t faded one bit ✨

Mauds Landing is one of those lesser known spots just outside Coral Bay that quietly steals the show 🌊

From above, the colours here are unreal. The further the drone flew along the coastline, the more the water shifted from bright aqua blues into deep turquoise and greens. It honestly didn’t even look real. If you’ve got a 4WD and let the tyres down, you can cruise straight along the shoreline and find your own little patch of paradise.

Still feeling a little hidden compared to the main Coral Bay 🪸 beaches and honestly… we kind of love it that way.

Passenger Princess 👑

We didn’t come out here chasing anything big. Just quiet mornings, long roads and the kind of days that remind you this is exactly where you’re meant to be.
