Waking up on the edge of the world! 🌏⛺️ Camping on the epic Bunda Cliffs in SA is like parking your van on the rim of the planet. The stars blaze above, the Southern Ocean crashes below, and you get front-row seats to Mother Nature’s drama. No fences, no fees, just pure wild freedom. Just don’t roll out too far… it’s a long way down! 🪂😂

📍WA/SA Border - Nullarbor

HOT TIP: the SA/WA sign is on the WA side which we found out after we drove through! 🤦🏽‍♂️ Luckily the officer remembered us and let us back into WA without checking for fruit etc as they always check going into WA but not SA!

Straddling the edge of Western & South Australia on the mighty Nullarbor, this remote border crossing is more than just a sign change—it’s a rite of passage! Once part of the East-West telegraph line, this stretch linked a young Australia. And yep, that giant kangaroo with sunnies and a can? That’s Rooey II, the local legend! Snap a pic, soak in the nothingness, and feel the vast outback welcome (or farewell) you in true Aussie style. 🦘🌅

📍 90 Mile Straight, WA

You do whatever you can to not get bored but to be honest, we found the drive to be amazing! 🙌🏾🤙🏽

Driving the iconic 90 Mile Straight on Western Australia’s Eyre Highway was an unforgettable experience. This arrow-straight stretch of road, 146.6 km long with no bends, cuts through the remote Nullarbor like a ribbon into the horizon. The sense of freedom was incredible—just me, the open road, and the wide Aussie sky. Seeing it is one thing, but actually doing the drive gave us a real taste of outback adventure. 🙌🏾

Another lap around the sun and you’re still out here being an absolute legend! You’re the kind of dad who makes life fun, the husband who keeps the ship steady (and the jokes rolling), and the mate everyone calls when they need a hand or a pick-me-up!
