I saw this billboard the other day:

“Believe. Achieve. Succeed.”

At first, I brushed it off as cliché  but it stuck.

Here’s the truth most people don’t talk about:
You can have the best strategy in the world. The perfect plan.
But if you don’t believe in yourself, it won’t go anywhere.

I’ve been there.
Stuck in self-doubt.
Talking myself out of showing up.
Second-guessing every move. Spinning out in my own head.
Worrying I’m not good enough. Afraid I’ll fail.

Sound familiar?

And yet
 kids don’t do that.
They believe they can fly, be superheroes, build empires, change the world.
No hesitation. No fear of looking silly.

So when did we stop doing that?
Why did we stop dreaming?

At some point, we started playing small.
We called it being “realistic.”
But honestly? It’s just fear.

If you’re waiting to feel “ready,” you’ll wait forever.
Start with belief.
Start being a kid again!

Pretty impressed with my step count today—honestly didn’t expect to clock that many. I was absolutely buggered by the end and I’ll probably be feeling it tomorrow, but it felt really good to be out and moving again.

It still blows my mind that I actually broke my leg. I wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone. It’s not the pain so much- it’s the disruption, the limitations, the headspace it takes up. Recovery is slow, and some days are tougher than others. But today was a win. Movement, even when it’s a bit uncomfortable, is progress.

Small steps still count.

You wake up and it’s 1990.
No wifi.
No smartphones.
What’s the first thing that you do?

Nothing beats going home to reset. Sunrise and sunset with no distractions, listening to the birds , garden walks, quiet moments, and chats with the locals. I’m so grateful to have a place like that to return to—and I miss it before I’ve even left. Back in the city now, but my heart’s still there.

Seeing that gorgeous Lab at the pub yesterday got me thinking about all the beautiful pets we’ve met on our travels. Some we only crossed paths with briefly, but others—we really got to know. We spent time with them, built little bonds, and shared moments that genuinely left a mark.

I’ve always loved animals, and I truly can’t wait for the day we’re settled enough to welcome a pet of our own.

Do I have a favourite? Honestly, that’s impossible. Each one has been special in their own unique way.

Have you ever met a pet on your travels that totally stole your heart?

I’m in love đŸ„°

Today we stopped in for lunch at the Aratula pub (highly recommend!) and were greeted by this handsome gentleman in the beer garden.

Those eyes—honestly, how could you not fall in love?

He had the sweetest nature. Gently greeted other patrons, happily accepted a scratch behind the ears, then settled himself under a table or sprawled out in the sun. No begging, no fuss—just chillin’.

Well-trained and clearly great genetics.

Can I have one, pretty please?
