‘RAPTORS ZED 50 BOUND!
To celebrate 50 years of Brisbane community radio icons 4ZZZ they’re holding a huge celebration mirroring the Market Days of yore, and amongst a stacked line-up of local legends like The Saints, Regurgitator and Screamfeeder is the one and only Velociraptor! It’s unsurprising that ‘Raptors got a guernsey given their history with Zeds - with ‘Cynthia’ coming in at #1 on the 4ZZZ Hot 100 for 2012 and ‘Ramona’ placing #4 in 2014 - so grab a ticket to make sure you don’t miss this awesome celebration of 4ZZZ and Brisbane in general!

FIRST STEP IN AN ALBUM DIRECTION!

The title track is the first taste of the band’s stunning new album due later in '25 – recorded over the ditch at Neil Finn’s Roundhead Studios in uptown Auckland with ARIA-winning producer Steven Schram – and it’s backed by five awesome covers of songs by other Aussie artists and a new rendition of ‘Walkerville’ from Mick’s old mob Weddings Parties Anything! Rad Sydney community radio station 2SER - specifically Cam from The Band Next Door on 2SER - had an awesome chat with Branko from Tape/Off as they tour south in celebration of their epic new album 'Fort Sensible', of which he reckons, "Tape/Off celebrate and berate the socio-political constructs of their home town across ten tracks, turning their everyday observations to engaging angsty anthems and anxiety-laced diatribes while background by a dynamic clash of grinding guitars, adrenaline driven rhythms and carefully crafted lyrics that read like the latest chapter in Queensland’s capital city canon".
