Four days and five years ago, The Insects played at the Valve Bar (RIP) under the Agincourt Hotel near Railway Square, Sydney NSW with Madam Fatale, Alienativ (RIP) and Call To Florin (RIP).

Now, Coen and Corin are gearing up to play their final Insects shows for a while with a very special 'Open Mic Tour' this week, supported by Lights Of The Cosmos, before Coen flies out to live in Japan for a year on Saturday March 16.

Suss the dates below, and stay tuned for the very imminent release of The Insects' debut album, 'Carro Lawn Hangs'...a semi-concept album, inspired by the town of Katoomba.

Huge thanks to Big Gordy D and his team of judges for nominating Lights Of The Cosmos as the second placed/silver winners of last years' Katoomba United Nations Community School/KUNCS' Talent Show at Junction 142. As our prizes, we received an skateboard from California, a jar of local honey, and a pizza voucher from Domino's Katoomba, as well as a good point ranking of 80something/100. Prizes awarded at the Community Picnic Jam, Charles Kingsford Smith Park, Katoomba.
