🎬✨ A Hollywood legend, finally honoured at home.

Today in Kiama, Australian Director Gillian Armstrong, MP Sarah Kaine and Kiama Historical Society President Sue Eggins unveiled a long-overdue Blue Plaque for Orry-Kelly - Australia’s most decorated costume designer and three-time Oscar winner.

As Armstrong finished her speech she turned to Mayor Cameron McDonald with a smile and said, “Mr Mayor, Orry-Kelly Boulevard has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?”

From Warner Bros. to his hometown school, Orry-Kelly's legacy is now part of NSW history - where it belongs. 💙

Late Thursday night, vandals discharged a fire extinguisher inside Edessa Arcade on Terralong Street, creating a “snowy” mess across shopfronts including the Bugle News office. 🧯
If anyone saw something, please come forward. Your information could assist in identifying those responsible.

Local Group 7 Wrap Up

Both the Kiama Knights and Gerringong Lions claimed victories over the weekend in Round 13 of the Group 7 South Coast Rugby League Competition, with both sides now sitting comfortably inside the top five.

Coming off a one-point win against the Shellharbour Sharks, the Gerringong Lions went one better against the Milton-Ulladulla Bulldogs, clinching the match by just two points.

A 67-year-old man has been refused bail after allegedly blowing 0.351, then getting behind the wheel again hours later and allegedly blowing 0.267. Police say both incidents happened in the same Jamberoo car park yesterday. 🚓🔁
