📣 Community Open Day - Saturday 26 September

The countdown is on!

Join us at the North Coast Veteran and Family Hub Community Open Day for a day of connection, wellbeing, information and community support.

We're bringing together a range of organisations that support veterans and their families, with insightful presentations and demonstrations throughout the day covering mental health, rehabilitation, allied health, fitness, recovery, yoga, breathwork and family services.

What's on offer?
• Insightful presentations and demonstrations from local service providers
• Service provider stalls, showcasing the supports and services available to veterans and families
• FREE BBQ Lunch
• Opportunities to connect with other veterans, families and community members
• 🎨 Face Painting for the Kids
• 🖍️ Kids Colouring Competition with prizes to be won
Whether you're a veteran, currently serving, a family member, carer, or simply interested in learning more about the services available locally, we'd love to see you there.

Looking to connect, get active, or take some time for yourself? Join us each week at the Hub for a range of welcoming wellbeing activities designed to support connection, health, and community.

🧘‍♀️ Tuesday | Breathwork with Pia | 9:00am
Take a moment to slow down, reset, and recharge. Pia will guide you through simple breathing techniques that can help reduce stress, improve focus, and support overall wellbeing. Suitable for all experience levels.

Great food, great conversation, and even better company! Our Brunch Club is a relaxed opportunity to connect with others, share a laugh, and enjoy a welcoming community atmosphere.

🚶‍♂️☕ Wednesday | Walking Group & Coffee | 7:30am
Start your day with fresh air, gentle exercise, and friendly conversation. We meet out the front of the Hub at 7:30am before heading off for a walk, followed by a well-earned coffee and chat together.

🧘 Thursday | Invictus Yoga with Michelle
Take some time for yourself to slow down, stretch, and enjoy a peaceful session focused on balance, mindfulness, and wellbeing. This calming class is a wonderful way to relax and recharge for the week ahead.
