DIY Ornaments

Homemade Air-Dry Clay Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup cornstarch
2 cups baking soda
1 ¼ cups water
Optional: Food coloring or acrylic paint for tinting

Mix Ingredients:
Combine the baking soda and cornstarch in a saucepan.
Gradually stir in the water until smooth

Cook the Clay:
Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly. After a few minutes, it will thicken to a mashed-potato-like consistency. Remove from heat immediately.

Cool and Knead:
Transfer the dough to a plate and let it cool enough to handle.
Knead the clay until smooth and pliable.

Shaping:
Use a smooth or patterned rolling pin. Cut circles and stamp any word using the letter from . Use a straw to create a clean hole at the top for the string.

Allow to dry for 24-48hrs
