At the core of S Productions, we’re all about connecting with community — especially through youth engagement and development.

We were recently approached to film the grand opening of a shop in Midland. What I thought would be a standard corporate shoot quickly became something that moved me to my core. The last thing I expected walking in was to have my eyes well up multiple times… but here we are 😅

Essentially this story is about a bloke in his kitchen — with a passion for basketball and a desire to help a small group of kids become the best versions of themselves through the game 🏀.

Fast forward 15+ years. Through love, commitment, and hard work, that vision has grown to now supporting around 5,000 young people under the banner. Creating pathways for young people not only in basketball, but also in business, leadership, and management.

God’s work, IMO.
We absolutely love everything they do and represent. Grateful for the opperunity to capture this milestone 🎬🙏🏾

THE SIMPLE WAY TO COME UP WITH CREATIVE CONCEPT VIDEOS FOR YOUR BUSINESS💡

There are 3 things you need to consider when creating short 15-60sec concept video ads.

1) Who your target audience is
2) Find a common/relatable topic or challenge your audience may face in relation to your business. Build your storyline from that.
3) Attach your storyline to a human emotion. The 2 most common directions you can go with this are humor or heartfelt.

80-90% of the time I go with humor simply because everyone can use a good laugh. Humor also allows us to cross borders into delicate subject matters without being persecuted for it.. Take the meme culture for instance. You can make a meme about anything and no matter how offensive it is, it will always be rubbed off as 'its just a meme, its just a joke'🤔

Here is a concept video I created for a local dentist practice in Perth. We went with the common fear most people have in lead up to their dentist appointment.

Who can relate to this when booking as dentist appointment?

Here was the series of videos I created for Mercedes-Benz Perth in lead up to their big name change. Each video served as a clue to keep their clients guessing as to what was actually happening at the dealership.

Its awesome to work with a marketing team that always have a well thought out plan for their marketing strategies. Although some of the crazy ideas can sometimes be challenging, it actually makes my life/job easier and more importantly FUN!!

I wrapped all six video clues into one video for easier viewing of the series🎬🔥
