THE 14th INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY MESSAGE FROM THE NATIONAL SALVATION FRONT (NAS)

Fellow Citizens of South Sudan,

This is a day of reflection, not celebration. Fourteen (14) years after July 9, 2011, our people still suffer under the oppressive SPLM regime, facing violence, fear, displacement, and hardship. True freedom is still out of reach. It’s time for a Second Liberation to restore dignity, peace, and justice through an inclusive process that unites all voices to heal our nation.

On the 14th anniversary of independence, NAS honors the resilient people of South Sudan. Despite suffering - your courage remains unshaken. We salute our brave forces and remember our fallen heroes; their sacrifices won’t be forgotten.

NAS calls for collaboration among the opposition. Now is the time to set aside divisions and act together to save our country.

To our people: your strength inspires us. We won’t stop until South Sudan is free - politically, economically, and socially.
