Each photo tells a story, each session is a new adventure and each click is a step towards preserving memories forever! I'm Amanda :)
I am an Australian Photographer artist operating out of Launceston, Tasmania. Whether that be Photographic, Retouched, composed, composite, paintings, drawings and I could go on and on.... If it's artistic and there to be created you can nearly guarantee that I've

had my go at making it happen! I picked up my first camera in 2005 and have not put it down since. I have spent hundreds of hours educating myself on the mechanics of my Camera and photoshop leading me to where I am now. I am currently building a portfolio of my works, and sharing my knowledge across multiple social media platforms. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have in regards to any of my work. I am very proud of my works, I believe whole heartedly that a full artistic license is allowed on any format and wont apologize for some of the fully edited images you might see here :)

A few weeks ago, we had the incredible opportunity to spend a weekend at the breathtaking Cradle Mountain. What a truly magical place! The pristine wilderness and awe-inspiring views here are simply unmatched. As it was late winter, we were lucky enough to experience the mountain dusted in snow, which added an extra layer of enchantment to the already stunning landscape.
Cradle Mountain is a place that captivates you from the moment you arrive. The rich diversity of wildlife, from curious wombats to majestic birds, adds to the sense of wonder. Every corner of this natural wonderland offers something new to discover, whether it’s the serene beauty of Dove Lake or the rugged peaks that define the skyline.
Although I didn’t get as much time as I’d like to capture the perfect photos, sometimes it’s more about soaking in the moment and enjoying the experience. Being a tourist with happy snaps isn’t so bad when the backdrop is this extraordinary.

Thank you, Cradle Mountain, for leaving such a lasting impression on me. I’ll definitely be back for more adventures in this incredible part of the world!

Good Morning, Everyone, and Happy Thursday!

I hope you’re all doing fantastic! I’m back and recharged after my winter break, and I’m thrilled to share that I’ve just broken my shooting drought with an amazing session at the West Tamar Dance Academy. The energy and excitement from these little movers were absolutely infectious!

A huge thank you to WTDA for letting me capture the incredible joy and dynamism of your dancers. Can’t wait to share these awesome photos with you all!

This weekend has spoilt us all with an amazing show of color and energy that traveled through universes to reach us. If you didn't get a chance to see it, I have a few more shots for you here!

Never in my wildest dreams had I thought Aurora photos would be possible in a light-polluted city, it turns out I just needed a G5-level solar storm to make it happen! And to top it off, there was an active meteor shower as well I managed to see a few off!
There are currently 5 CMEs (Coronal Mass Ejections) impacting the Earth so get outside and look up if you can! You might just see the fair lady gracing your skies!
This energy travelled all the way from the burning hot sun spots it ejected out of and displays once it reaches here in a brilliant show of different colors depending on where it impacts. For us, typically Southern lights usually show in a beautiful flush of pink and green. You see it through a camera lens best but this morning it was obvious to the naked eye!
It felt truly magical to stand under the Aurora with the sun rising to my right. Something that is rarely witnessed!

Greetings, everyone! Welcome to 2024 🥳 It's been some time since I shared anything besides picturesque Tassie beaches or sunsets, but I've have dabbled in other endeavors!

Late last year, I had the honor of capturing Daniel and Sarah's wedding in my hometown of NSW. The ceremony was a delightful, intimate affair surrounded by family and friends against the backdrop of breathtaking countryside.

Describing it as an incredible day would be an understatement! Sarah and Daniel, thank you once again. May your photos continue to bring you everlasting joy, just like your marriage
