What a wet and chilly Launnie day - I hope you all are snuggled up warm on the couch listening to the wireless over a nice cup of tea, or soup if that's how you choose to live your life. Thankfully, we'll be on the air at 8pm tonight, bringing you two hours of HAWT new music to get the blood flowing and toes a-tappin!

I'm especially excited to share our NEW BREW SPOTLIGHT tonight, where we play three tunes off a new Australian release. Tonight we're shining that spotlight on People Taking Pictures, a Perth/Boorloo genre defying experimental psych funk electronic outfit who love mashing genres as much as they love great music. We're listening to their new EP SOOP on the show tonight, so tune in from 8pm to find out what the fuss is all about.

What is KRACKIN my KRACKENS?! Its the end of the first quarter of the year of our lord 2026, which is not something I care to think about! Yes you may not believe it but the sun is about to go sleepy bye bye and the fell winds of winter will soon be upon us. I expect that means something about white walkers approaching from the southern wastelands but that's enough reasons to ten year old shows that disappointed us all! For the end of the first quarter means it is time for our first NEW BREW IN REVIEW of the year! YES FOLKS its that time when we take all our favourite music released in the last three months, burn a CD mixtape for you and slip it into your schoolbag after phys ed. OR you could just listen to it on the radio TONIGHT AT 8PM which to be honest is far more convenient. link in the comments!!!

In honour of local legend's Spooky Eyes new album launch (at a brilliant free gig at Avenue Records last Friday) we're reaching into the vault and playing an old episode from last December, when we had Jude from Spooky Eyes hanging out with us on the show and giving us a sneak peak at the new album.

This was a great episode - we heard four tracks off the new album and Jude has an encyclopedic knowledge of 60s and 70s esoteric rock and psych, which he was happy to share with us.

I learned so much from just chilling with the guy and had a dozen new (old) bands to add to my playlist, so if you want your musical horizons likewise expanded, tune in tonight at 8pm on City Park Radio

A very exciting show tonight guys - not only are we starting the YEAR in REVIEW where we're looking back over some of our favourite music that came out this year - we also have JUDE from Spooky Eyes joining us to talk about some of his favourite music.

AND give us a SNEAKY PEEKY at their upcoming EP! OH and maybe to chat about a little gig they've got coming up with the motherflippin FOO FIGHTERS.

YES we're shining the NEW BREW SPOTLIGHT on these local legends as we get a preview of their selftitled EP to be released in JANUARY next year!
