We’re in a late 90s-style teen movie and we’ve been trying to pluck up our courage all year to ask you to the prom but we need something to SEAL THE DEAL and ensure you will not reject us in front of the whole class! BUT how can we make our feelings clear? DON’T WORRY, we have a foolproof plan – an AWESOME MIX CD of BRAND NEW MUSIC made ESPECIALLY FOR YOU! FULL of the most EMOSH and KICKASS TUNES that will make you realise you don’t need JOHNNY FOOTBALL HERO or KIRSTY HIGHKICK (the best CHEERLEADER IN SCHOOL), you just need a misunderstood pair of music misfits who are obsessed with NEW MUSIC! OUR HEARTS are beating madly in our chests as we slip the CD onto your desk as we walk by.

BUT OH NO! We have not reckoned with MRS HARDBALL, our mean old English teacher!

“WHAT’S THAT?” she says, plucking the CD from our sweaty hands. “A MIX TAPE IS IT?! Well, let’s hope it’s good enough for the whole class!” Chuckling evilly, she puts the CD in the player and presses play.

BLAM! The opening notes of the first song fill the classroom and the KIDS GO WILD! Everyone is jumping on the desks and dancing! Dusters are thrown out the windows and schoolbooks fly in the air as chaos erupts! “CLASS, SIT DOWN! CHILDREN, YOU’LL BE IN DETENTION FOR LIFE!” threatens Mrs Hardball.

WOWEE FOLKS its time again for NEW BREW, a show where we play music on the RADIO that is NEW! WHAT IS A RADIO you ask? Well its like a podcast but you can only listen to it once and if I make a mistake pressing the wrong buttons during the show then you hear it cause its happening right as you're listening it, its this old fashioned thing called LIVE ENTERTAINMENT, BABY! Don't worry if you can't fire up the ol' Wireless, you can listen to us on your phone, there's a link in the comments.

I have been working in the sun today so I'll keep this succinct but you know the other thing thats I'm wondering about is all this AI stuff. I am not a fan of the robots making pictures! And I say that DESPITE using AI images on these posts before but I do it BEGRUDINGLY because, to paraphrase Brittany Packnett Cunningham, we all breathe the same smog!

In other news, how about that sun today! It sure is doing its job , using its heat to keep the white walkers at bay and melting the icy poles and zooper doopers of lazy children everywhere. That reminds me, how good were zooper doopers? I was talking to a nice staff fella in Bunnings who had been given a zooper dooper by management because it was super hot in that big shed and hey, what's cheaper, air conditioning or a zooper dooper? I think there is a metaphor for capitalism here. My favourite flavour was blackcurrant.

I'll put a link to the radio stations live stream in the comments which I do because, apparently, that helps more people see the post because Facebook is jealous of other websites and tries to gaslight us into believing they dont exist, which I do not think is cool at all!
