🌴💔 TRAGIC REAL STORY BEHIND DEATH IN PARADISE 🕵️‍♂️

Many fans don’t know this heartbreaking fact from the show…

British actor Larrington Walker sadly passed away in September 2017 while he was actively filming a guest role in Death in Paradise.

He was filming on location in Guadeloupe when he died from natural causes on his day off at the age of 71.

💔 What makes this even more emotional is that:

He was playing the main suspect (killer) in the episode
His role was almost fully connected to the episode’s final twist
But after his sudden death, the production had to completely rewrite the ending

🔁 Instead of the original climax where the detective arrests him…
👉 The story was changed and his character was written to escape by boat before being caught

🎬 The episode titled:
“Dark Memories” (Season 7, Episode 7)
was later dedicated to his memory

🌟 This makes it one of the most emotional behind-the-scenes moments in Death in Paradise history.

Replacing a fan-favourite detective was never going to be easy.

But Humphrey Goodman did something special.
