In some terrible news, Police are currently investigating the details of a tragic crash that took place in Bamawm yesterday evening.

Emergency services were dispatched to Stratton Road at approximately 6:45pm following reports that a vehicle had overturned.

Upon arrival, first responders found the car had indeed rolled over, and unfortunately, the driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was discovered deceased at the scene.

The identity of the driver has not yet been confirmed, and authorities are working to understand the events that led to this fatal incident.

A 43-year-old Echuca man has sadly died at the scene of a crash yesterday afternoon in Lockington – between Bendigo and Echuca – with police investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Emergency services were called to Lockington Road about 3.50pm following reports a solo rider had come off their motorcycle.

Police were quickly on scene and located the rider with critical injuries. The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.

What a fantastic turnout for the Lockington Family Festival last week, with the community all coming together! 🙌🏻

The Lockington Community Hotel would like to thank the community far and wide that came and enjoyed the Family Festival last night.

It was an great night, thankyou to everyone who attended for creating such an amazing environment for everyone to come together. It was great to see our little pub so busy.

Big shout out to Linda, Simon and the amazing staff and volunteers for going above and beyond to make the event run smoothly.

We look forward to seeing everyone for next year, stay tuned for more events throughout the year.
