Some sad news today with the passing of Australian Country Music Pioneer Ted Egan at the age of 93. Throughout tonight's show we will share some of Ted's music to celebrate his life as a Great in the Australian Country Music Industry.

Remembering Bob Bongo Starkie on the Thursday morning show on 101FM Logan City with Jason Dasey.

The popular Skyhooks guitarist died last week at the age of 73 after a year-long cancer battle, ending his dream of doing a 50th anniversary show to mark the release of the Ego is not a Dirty Word album.

We’ll replay clips of Bob’s 2023 interview with Jase and play some of Skyhooks’ biggest hits in our special tribute at 10:30am.
