Goodbye blue tree 😞

Sad News for Our Community 🌳💙
Today we have to say goodbye to the iconic Blue Tree in Perth. After a recent fire incident that severely damaged the tree, the fire service advised to have the tree assessed. An independent arborist has advised that the tree is unsafe and the council had to comply with the difficult decision to cut it down.
The blue tree had remained in place as a reminder of its powerful message: it’s okay to not be okay. Council is fully supportive to see another blue tree in the Northern Midlands. Thank you to everyone who shared memories and photos over the years—its impact will live on.
