🚧 ROAD CONDITIONS UPDATE – PLEASE SHARE 🚧
⏰ As at 9.30am, Monday 12 January

Multiple roads across the region are closed due to flooding and hazards. Please avoid these areas and never drive through floodwaters.

❌ Current road closures:
• Eungella – Mackay Eungella Road (hazard)
• Walkerston – Pugsley St (closed to through traffic)
• North Eton – Sarina-Homebush Road (closed to through traffic)
• Brightly – Mirani Eton Rd
• Sarina – Marlborough Sarina Rd
• Glenella – Hicks Rd
• Beaconsfield – Beaconsfield Rd
• Beaconsfield – Golf Links Rd
• Pinnacle – Mackay Eungella Road
• Eungella / Netherdale – Mackay Eungella Road
• Glenella – Glenella Connection Road (use an alternative route)

⚠️ Lanes affected (flooding/hazards):
• Eton / North Eton – Marian Eton Road (all lanes affected)
• Koumala – Bruce Highway (all lanes affected)
• Mount Pelion – Bruce Highway (lanes reduced – proceed with caution)

⚠️ Minor Flooding Possible at Mirani - Sunday morning

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a minor flood warning for the Pioneer River at Mirani.

👉 A reminder to everyone - especially campers and those staying near creeks and waterways - to stay alert, be prepared and listen to warnings.

With more rain predicted, conditions around rivers and streams can change quickly. If you’re camping or spending time near the water, please:

• Keep an eye on weather updates and warnings
• Be ready to move to higher ground if conditions worsen
• Never camp too close to creek banks or flood-prone areas
• Listen to advice from emergency services

🌧 A Flood Watch remains current for the Pioneer River.
