Gladstone CQMX Round 3 im pretty sure, been busier than a 1 arm brickie lately with photography and life.
Quick little recap and thoughts from the weekend from the photography side, Spectator area and also flagging.
• Thank you to the hose that didnt break in same spot as last time, that section was pretty good, well except when 2 of my boys fell over then i hated it haha.
• Track looks like it is one of those tracks thats hard to prep with the dirt, crew did a good job thats for sure, its good riding track and has some aweosme jumps, racing it isnt the best but it had good inside ruts in places, some places were more baked than Snoop Dogg celebrating 420 Day
• Can we get armour or a shield for flagpoint 9, Sacchi got loose in the rollers, his back tyre was facing me on the side of a roller and i got absolutely pelted with rocks, they bloody hurt!!
• Beau riding with a broken Collarbone, not much else to say but s**t he looked like he was in pain after a race.
• What is with kids absolutely screaming like they are getting murdered in the toilets, us older people out ears are sensitive to high pitch noises.
• ASN handing out little vouchers to spectators was awesome....... except for the one bloke i watched recieve his card, scrunch it up and throw it away, if it was a beer voucher he would've kept it
• Caleb Hansen has a hatred with the finish flag on jump and decided to get rid of it during practice.
• Senior race numbers were low which meant the top guys had to deal with Clubman rider's but didnt appear to see many issues there.
• Positive to combined classes, racing finishing at 1pm sunday.
• 85 kids havent changed, although they have been obeying the flags.
• Hey Kev, we use a last lap board not a white flag haha
• Oh do we need bigger last lap boards aswell?
Dysart CQ next, similar dirt to Gladstone, awesome tracķ with views from bar to see 95% of the track.
