I had an amazing time in Bourke, where I joined the Goanna Academy for a rugby league skills clinic. It was such an inspiring and fun experience to learn from Greg Inglis and his team, and to connect with the local community. The Goanna Academy is doing great work to promote mental health awareness and support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, especially in regional areas. I’m so grateful for this opportunity and I hope to come back soon.

One of the highlights of my trip was witnessing the stunning sunsets in Bourke. Every evening, the sky was painted with vibrant colors that took my breath away. I felt so peaceful and happy watching the sun go down over the horizon. Bourke has some of the longest daylight hours in Australia, so I got to enjoy the beauty of nature for longer. Here are some photos of the sunsets I captured. Aren’t they gorgeous?
