Attached is the current post involving a review of the so called Streetscape - Robert Street proposal from Yorke Peninsula Council. The problem with this surreptitious proposal being foisted onto this community, is it is not clear what the proposal actually entails in relation to the 2021-2023 Concept which the township was very interested!!

After several years away suffering from the Maitland malaise, apathy, and it's not my problem, I tumbled across this post from 21 Sept 2021.
Here we are almost 6 years later and despite demonstrating the obvious, spending thousand of dollars on a proposal, holding a public review, Surveyors marking out service locations in Robert Street NOTHING has happened.
Whilst those in the ivory tower up the "Yellow Brick" road apparently are proposing to employ a consultant to do yet another plan and spend thousands of dollars of our hard earned rates, on yet another PR window dressing exercise.
One has to wonder whether the mob ensconced in the comfort of those relatively New Offices realise that their job entails more than doing studies and publishing reports of "MAYBES".
With the number of cars continually parked in the Council Office car-park one could be forgiven for thinking that the office is bustling with community activity.
However perusing community assets it is clear that the staff collective have all been trained by the CWI being highly proficient with "patchwork" skills. But then they are also deluded into believing that they are running a business, instead of providing and maintaining community assets.
