Channel Nine news tonight at 6.00 will be having a segment regarding the appalling behaviour by two customers at Lakelands McDonalds yesterday.

Good afternoon Residents.

In the 2018-19 financial year, Mandurah saw a rate rise of 2.0 per cent and 1.9 per cent in 2017-18.
We think this is most unfair with so much financial heart ache about and the continued fall of our house prices along with the continued decline in our economy and consumer spending. We cannot understand why they would increase rates yet again and they are completely out of touch with the community!
So I would encourage everyone to have there say in writing a letter with your disapproval to the mandurah city council. You can go to the City of Mandurah website where you can have your say online or you can send your hand written feedback to:

Hi Residents. Here is some interesting information on the GD Pork Piggery at West Pinjarra...Page 32 of the Sunday Times News. The
L.R.A have been monitoring the progress of this piggery and also with Governmental Departments investigating. This seems to be a common problem at more than 1 piggery sites around the South West....

The LRA would like to Thank Gareth McKnight from Mandurah Mail. He initially approached the LRA to print a story in regards to our Petition but it didn't go as planned. So after reading the feedback on social media, Gareth spoke with the LRA and decided to re-print our article in the Community Newspaper which caught us by surprise. Greetings to all our fellow Residents.
On Tuesday night the LRA were pleased to attend the information night for the new Coastal Lakes College. Congratulations to Kya Graves(the schools Principal) and her fantastic team on achieving what can only be described as a mammoth task on getting the college ready for the beginning of 2019. The information that was shared by the College was very exciting and focused not only on the school and educating the students but involving the Lakelands Community as well. After the meeting we spoke to Kya, Suzanne Duncan(Manager of Corporate Services), Associate Principal Shane Easton and a few others and the LRA are excited to throw our support behind the School and the P&C committee. We look forward to working closely with the college to help bring the whole community together.
