One thing we keep hearing over and over again on the road, from complete strangers, people she’s had a five-minute conversation with, and people who’ve spent months travelling alongside us, is just how special this girl is. 🥹
And as her parents, there’s really no greater compliment.
She has a heart of absolute gold, a soul far bigger than she probably even realises, and the most cracking sense of humour. She’ll give you the shirt off her back, make sure nobody is ever left out and somehow make a friend wherever she goes.
Unless you’re one of her brothers. Then you’re on your own. 😂
And don’t worry, we still get the sass, the attitude and the teenage eye rolls the second the caravan door closes. She’s definitely not walking around with a permanent halo. 😅
But hearing, time and time again, what other people see in our girl has been one of the most rewarding parts of this trip.
I honestly think hitting the road has allowed so much of who she is to shine even brighter. She’s been thrown into new places, new experiences and conversations with people of every age and walk of life, and somehow she just thrives in it.
We love all three of our kids more than they’ll ever understand, but this one is just for her. Her little moment to know that we see her. Other people see her. And she is absolutely bloody shining. ✨
Somehow our little girl is growing up right in front of our eyes.
And while I’m completely in awe of the young woman she’s becoming…
Ben is absolutely not coping.
As far as he’s concerned, she’s still five years old and there is simply no reasonable explanation for why her boots now also fit her mother. 😂🤠
Keep being exactly who you are, beautiful girl. The world needs more of it. ❤️
