Our Christmas trading hours are listed below. Kitchen hours will be from 7am-5pm as per trade. Please be advised post office collection trading hours are limited due to the busy period we will make exceptions where we are able to assist to ensure everyone is able to collect their mail, please understand access to this service may not always be able to occur due to staff availability.

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick update. We are changing our trading hours as the warmer weather fast approaches and the return of busy season is well and truly upon us.

Our trading hours are as follows:

Monday: 7:30am-6pm
Tuesday: 7:30am-6pm
Wednesday: 7:30am-6pm
Thursday: 7:30am-6pm
Friday: 7:30am-7pm
Saturday: 7:30am-7pm
Sunday: 7:30am-7pm

Please note all postal collections and enquiries will only be available from 7:30am until 4pm Monday-Friday and not available for collection on weekends during this period.

Please understand we are doing our absolute best to provide customer service to everyone that comes into our store and this is only a temporary arrangement to ensure everyone can be served quickly and efficiently 😊

Hi Everyone just a quick announcement to alleviate any confusion. We are changing our trading hours as slightly warmer weather is upon us and busier times aren't far off. Our trading hours are as follows:

Monday: 7:30am-6pm
Tuesday: 7:30am-6pm
Wednesday: 7:30am-6pm
Thursday: 7:30am-6pm
Friday: 7:30am-7pm
Saturday: 7:30am-7pm
Sunday: 7:30am-7pm

Kitchen Operating Hours have also extended: 7:30am-5pm

An update on the Fuel Console situation. We have it all up and running again. You can use our after hours terminal or come in during opening hours and use the fuel pump system as normal again.
Thanks so much for your patience and understanding regarding this matter as it has been quite a stressful matter for our staff and locals.

Hi Everyone,

Unfortunately our Fuel Console has crashed this morning and we've had to contact an electrician to come and repair it, this also includes the self serve 24 hour fuel system. We believe it's to do with the rough weather conditions which has quite possibly caused damage to the electronics.

Fuel will not be available for purchase until this issue has been rectified. Our deepest apologies for anyone this effects and inconveniences. We're doing everything we can to fix it as soon as possible.

So the power is out until approximately 3:15pm today as SA Power Networks are undertaking maintenance in Marion Bay.
Our generator is all up and running. We're still open today as normal for Fuel, Coffee, Take-Away and Groceries at your convenience feel free to pop in.

An exciting opportunity has come up here at the Marion Bay General Store.

We are HIRING!

We're looking for some all rounder Casual Staff offering flexible hours, a great team environment and on the job training if required depending on past experience.

Duties may include:
● Serving Customers
● Stacking Shelves
● Making Coffee
● Maintaining Stock
● Unloading Weekly Deliveries
● Kitchen Prep
● Mail Sorting and Distribution
● Cleaning
● Till Operation
● Fuel Console Operation

Candidates must be reliable, trustworthy, able to follow instructions, willing to cover shifts, able to undertake a National Police Clearance or provide proof of a current Police Clearance and overall have a burning desire to create an enjoyable friendly customer experience here at the shop for the local people who reside here in the town and tourists alike.

We will now be expecting deliveries from 11am everyday ongoingly for those of you that come in and purchase newspapers regularly.
