I haven't actively been using this account, but I feel it’s important to clarify our position.

Our investigations are not “tours” designed to influence perception through suggestion or pareidolia in order to manufacture a narrative or create a staged “spooky” experience for profit. Authentic investigation, in our view, should involve minimal cost—primarily to assist hosts with basic expenses—and while a tip is always appreciated, it is never expected.

We take a straightforward, no-nonsense approach. There are no fabricated backstories, no embellished names, and no theatrics. What we do, we consider a privilege.

Experiences marketed as “ghost hunting” or “spooky encounters” for entertainment, particularly those driven by profit, often raise serious concerns about authenticity. An old building is not inherently haunted, and investigations are not confined to nighttime—phenomena, where genuine, are not bound by the clock.

We also believe that presenting ghost stories or guaranteed sightings as part of a “tour” is misleading. Such practices risk trivialising both the field and the entities involved.

It is worth noting that only a very small percentage of people will ever see or meaningfully interact with a spirit. This alone highlights the importance of approaching the subject with honesty and restraint.

This perspective is also why we have stepped back from social media. What we do is deeply personal and, to us, very special. While I may occasionally share brief insights, I will not engage in theatrics or portrayals—such as adopting personas, claiming titles like “medium” or “sensitive,” or suggesting the ability to “cleanse” or control spirits—that I believe misrepresent the reality of this work.

In our experience, genuine practitioners do not seek attention or make exaggerated claims. Discretion and respect are essential.

That said, we do continue our efforts to communicate and observe. I have been doing this for over 50 years—not by pursuit, but by circumstance. I’m fortunate that Lisa also has a natural awareness in this area, which allows Dusty’s Paranormal to operate as a grounded and focused research partnership. On occasion, we invite trusted individuals to join us.

This weekend will be no exception, with friends joining us from both near and interstate for what we hope will be a meaningful step into the past.

Hello everyone!

I know, its been a long time since I have posted on here but Im back!
Not that I was really gone. I was keeping one eye on this news feed, while doing my paranormal research on the quiet.
I didnt post anything because i didnt want my seriousness of the paranormal put out there in the wash of over saturated paranormal content, a lot of which is offensive rubbish, making a mockery of those who take this seriously.

So ive decided to come back to FB and TT, do my thing, share my research and ignore the gullible and fakes.

This isnt about likes, followers or money. This is to give the people passed a voice.

Just a qu**ky... we just want to clarify that yes we host small private group investigations.
We are NOT a tourism company, so we certainly dont put ideas in anyones heads by telling ghost stories etc.
If you want to be scared then do a tourist investigation. If you want to learn and experience things, try a custom private investigation with us!
You will use a wide rage of scientific gear with a real explaination of how the gear works, you get to ask the questions and you get to be the investigator, not the onlooker! You also leave the night with a history rundown of the location ( you are told this AFTER the investigation has concluded) and you also will recieve a private link to a video of our evening!

Just inbox us to arrange a time. We can be fairly flexible!
