The Warren Blackwood Alliance of Councils is developing a Regional Trails Strategy for the area. We need them to know just how many people ride adventure and trail bikes in the area, and would like more!

While we’re taking a short break from regular uploads and getting the next adventure series ready, we thought we’d leave you with one of the more important skills we’ve mastered over the years…

Passing lollies between rider and passenger without removing a helmet. 🍬🏍️

After thousands of kilometres together on the bike, you’d think we’d have perfected the technique by now. The reality is there’s still plenty of missed catches, dropped lollies and questionable hand-eye coordination involved.

The channel might be taking a quick rest stop while we finish planning, filming and editing the next series, but don’t worry—we’re still out riding, exploring and collecting plenty of stories along the way.

Think of it like a fuel stop for the channel. We’re topping up, checking the map and getting ready for the next leg of the journey.

Another day exploring the back roads of WA’s south west.

Today was an easy road ride taking in the tall timbers from Manjimup, stopping in at the historic Donnelly River Village, spending time with a few locals and enjoying the sunshine. Emus watching us have coffee and kangaroos keeping watch, there’s always something to discover when you leave the highways behind.

We also stopped to take in the view overlooking Greenbushes Lithium mine before finishing the day with a great run through Grimwade back in the Australian bush.

This is why we ride.

Above the treetops at Mt Frankland, the views stretch across some of Western Australia’s most spectacular wilderness.

This week’s video takes us on a 354km ride through the south west, exploring Lake Muir, Mt Frankland National Park, Fernhook Falls and Shannon Dam, letting DMD2 choose the trails as we go.

Plenty of forest tracks, stunning scenery and a few challenges along the way.

Old mines, new lakes and a day exploring in the South West.

We spent a day visiting Black Diamond, Stockton Lake and Lake Kepwari. What were once mining sites are now lakes surrounded by forest and winding roads - perfect for a day in the bike.
