I was reviewing a brand’s Klaviyo account this week, and it reminded me why so many founders hit a wall with email.

They know it’s important.
They want it to work.
But between running the business, managing socials, and juggling everything else, email ends up being handed off to the wrong person or half-done.

I heard something on a podcast the other day and I can’t stop thinking about it!

The General Manager of this hugely successful Aussie supplement brand said:

ā€œWe don’t make products for ourselves. We make them for our customers.ā€

And I instantly thought about how often I hear brand owners say the same thing about their marketing!

ā€œI don’t do email marketing because I don’t open emailsā€

Okay… but are you trying to sell to yourself?

Or to the people who actually buy from you?

You’re thinking too much like a business owner, not a buyer. And it’s holding you back because you don’t want to be ā€œannoyingā€.

They’re literally waiting for a reason to buy IF you show up the right way.

So if your product was made for them…

Shouldn’t your marketing be too?
