🪔 🙏PM Anthony Albanese sends warmest wishes to everyone celebrating Ganeshotsava 2026.

In his message, the Prime Minister recognises the significance of the 10-day celebration for Australia’s Hindu community, honouring its heritage, faith and contribution to Australia. 🌸 🇦🇺

"I send my warmest wishes to everyone marking Ganeshotsava in all its energy and joy.

During this 10-day devotion, I know Australia’s Hindu community will be uplifted by the cherished rituals you have embraced for generations, a powerful and beautiful honouring of your heritage here in the land that is your home.

Your celebration of Lord Ganesha as the god of new beginnings has great resonance for this season traditionally associated with hope and renewal, birth and regeneration.

As Australia’s diverse Hindu communities gather to worship and rejoice, I acknowledge all you have added to our nation with your hard work, aspiration and love of country.

May the faith and friendship you celebrate on Ganeshotsava lift your hearts."
