Three and a half years ago I (Zim) went to the Australian Institute of Music to pursue my passion for composing music for the screen. One of my personal favourites within the catalog is Emissary which owes a lot of inspiration to the classic songs from the James Bond films such as Goldfinger, Skyfall and No Time to Die. I wanted to evoke an instantly memorable chord sequence that would persist within the piece that would also echo feelings of melancholy and resolve. A simple piece that contains a identifiable melody that is accentuated by strings, horns and a fantastic drum section by Dylan, Emissary is a piece we are both very proud of to be out there for everyont to listen to.
