| The Supreme Court (SC) En Banc has deferred action on motions for reconsideration filed by the House of Representatives and other groups challenging the high court's ruling that declared unconstitutional the Articles of Impeachment against Vice President Sara Duterte.

In a Viber message, SC spokesperson Atty. Camille Sue Mae Ting told reporters that the motions were on the agenda for Tuesday’s En Banc session but were not acted upon since the court is still waiting for more motions to be submitted before taking action.

Meanwhile, when asked, Atty. Ting did not provide a reason for the “inaction.”
