Happy New Year lovelies!! 💞✨ Sorry I haven’t posted in a long time. Work’s still super busy and I’ve been battling with a new problem on my YouTube. Mid December, there was suddenly a huge spike of bot followers and comments 🥲 it got so bad I had to pause all the comments on my last 5 videos. These spammers have drastically reduced the average view duration of my videos and as a result my videos are no longer going out or being recommended 🥺 This is so devastating as I spend weeks editing and perfecting my videos on top of my hectic 40+hr working week. And those of you that regularly watch my videos know how much effort I put into each one.
If you are a fellow content creator or have heard of other creators talk about a similar issue and know of a way to fix it please message me! I have contacted Google support and they are no help at all 😓 Despite me telling them normally 95% of my viewers are Female, whereas on my last upload male viewers have overtaken Female viewers 🤯😤 how ridiculous is that?? And they still tell me there’s no unusual activity.. 😳
You can see from the screenshots they all seem to be males 18-24yo from Bangladesh. My usual audience is a lot older majority from US. How are they finding my channel? I have no idea. There doesn’t seem to be any way for me to stop these people from subscribing to me and ruining my metrics 😰 so if you guys have any ideas please help! 🙏🙏🙏
