A cargo plane delivering humanitarian food supplies crashed this morning in Leer County, Unity State, killing all three crew members, local authorities have confirmed.

Radio Miraya reports that the aircraft developed a technical problem as it approached the airstrip at around 8:30 AM.

The plane had departed Juba earlier, carrying food aid for flood-affected communities in southern Unity State.

The cause of the crash remains unknown, and authorities have dispatched a committee to investigate.

It comes in to our attention that Anyuak have a plan to grab Makot Town. They are claiming that, the Itang town should be relocated to Tharpam Mazuria as there is no good environment in Itang. This plan is more than relocation. It's long term plan compared to what Omod Obang did during that time when he repatriated all Nuer who live peacefully in Katde to take them to Nuer Zone and brought Anyuak terrorist from the river bank to the dry land the present day Abol. This place become the most ghost town where every barbaric act conducted throughout the year. The same strategy is what is working nowadays. Anyuak want to come and live in Tharpam, so that there will be no safe place for Nuer Sons and daughters.

This message is to you Chiereng who own the land, it's up to you to leave your homeland to the hand of Anyuak or you will confront them. We would like to advice you that, don't accept this land usurp plan. Stand strong with Unity and defend what's right fully yours.

Nuer Community must stand together this time. We'll not allow such kind of foolishness again!

It seems there is some misunderstanding about the meaning of the word refugees.
Refugees are individuals who are compelled to leave their home country due to war, persecution, violence, or fear of harm. They cross an international border in search of safety and protection in another country.

Based on this definition, it is clear that both the Nuer and Anyuak communities originally come from South Sudan. The Anyuak population still resides in Pochalla, South Sudan, and they are represented in the South Sudan Parliament.
Therefore, the Anyuak refugees living in Pinyudo camp are South Sudanese who arrived in Ethiopia mainly through two entry points: Akobo and Pochalla.

The Anyuak refugee population in Pinyudo is also larger compared to the Nuer and other South Sudanese groups. The Nuer share a similar historical background as well.

When compared with the claims made by Jekap Omod and others who support his position, their argument regarding exclusive ownership of Gambella does not align with historical or demographic facts.

Gambella, like other Ethiopian regions bordering neighboring countries such as the Somali Region (bordering Somalia), Tigray, Afar, and Benishangul-Gumuz naturally has cross-border populations with shared origins.

The question remains: on what basis can Anyuak claim sole ownership of Gambella without acknowledging the presence and contribution of the Nuer community? πŸ€”

Anyuak are truly refugees in Gambella. Everyone is aware of it!
Even during this year's census, we found that, Anyuak who claims to be citizens are the same living in refugee camp. No difference!

and Mrs. Alimitu herself were South Sudanese Refugee settled in Refugee Camp before the repatriation in 2008 G.C.

In 2022, five of the Anyuak were disqualified after they won School Teacher positions at RRS after they were verified and they were found refugee status. RRS detained them and jailed one guy who insisted to claim that he is a citizen, my uncle is cabinet. He was charged for 3 years imprisonment.

and got their resettlements through refugee status. They were relocation cases. There's no other way that Anyuak can managed to go abroad and opened their decayed mouths without UNHCR! ✍️
