Getting Up After a Fall

Kapag nakaranas tayo ng pagbagsak, pagkatalo o pagkabigo sa ating mga pangarap o plano, hindi maiiwasan na masaktan, magduda sa ating kakayahan at magtanong ng "Bakit?" That's normal. But never ever wallow in self-pity and self-doubt. What do you do after failing? Get up and start again.

Ano ang mga dapat gawin para makabangon tayo muli?

1) Accept the fact that falling and failing are a part of life. Kahit ang mga undeafeated champions ay nakararanas din ng pagkadapa at pagkatalo. We do not know what happens during their practice fights, pero malamang sa hindi ay nadarapa din sila sa kanilang mga pag-eensayo. Some champions are able to maintain a no-loss record, kasi hindi naman nila hinaharap ang lahat ng mga nais kumalaban sa kanila. Our nature as imperfect individuals make us very vulnerable to failure. Mas madali tayong makababangon mula sa pagkakamali at pagkakadapa kung tatanggapin nating, bahagi ito ng buhay. Hindi lang ikaw ang bumagsak, marami pang iba, at pinili nilang bumangon, sumubok muli at magtagumpay.

2) Allow your failure to fuel your future successes. Kapag ikaw ay nakipagsapalaran at hindi ka nagtagumpay, hindi ibig sabihin ay walang-wala kang napala sa karanasang ito. Hindi pag-aaksaya ng panahon, lakas at pera ang pagbagsak. In the process, you became a stronger, wiser and braver person. Hindi ka nga lang naging successful ang unang pagsubok but you are actually more prepared now to take on another challenge, dahil pinatatag ka ng panahon, karanasan at mas malawak na kaalaman.

3) Admit your hurts and disappointments and let God encourage you. Kapag umiral ang pagdududa sa iyong kakayahan, sa tuwing matatakot ka kung ano ang mangyayari sa iyong kinabukasan, lumapit ka sa Diyos at sa Kanya mo ibuhos ang lahat ng iyong nararamdaman. God understands your hurts, doubts and disappointments. He also sees the big picture of your life and future. Kung hindi malinaw ang hinaharap para sa iyo dahil sa pagbagsak o pagkabigo, hang-on to what the word of God says, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV).

Paano ka babangon muli buhat sa pagkakabagsak sa buhay, trabaho, negosyo o examination? Accept that failing is part of our journey; allow your failure to fuel your future success; and admit your hurts and let God encourage you.
