🚁 Tech that’s turning heads at Townsville University Hospital!

We were proud to see FAMASO and our drone cleaning technology featured in Townsville Hospital and Health Service’s latest publication (Page 16) — highlighting how innovation is helping improve safety and efficiency at the Townsville Cancer Centre.

Our KTV Working Drone was recently trialed on-site to clean external facades and windows — eliminating the need for scaffolding, EWPs, or rope access in high-risk zones.

Celebrating Women in Rope Access: Negin Afshar Achieves IRATA Level 3

A huge congratulations to Negin Afshar, who has just achieved her IRATA Level 3 — the highest level of certification in rope access!

Negin began her rope journey with FAMASO as a Level 1 and has steadily progressed through to become a fully qualified Level 3 Supervisor. Her growth reflects not just her own determination and capability, but also what’s possible when opportunities and support align.

In an industry where women are still vastly underrepresented — with estimates suggesting a 20:1 male-to-female ratio, and even fewer women at the supervisory level — Negin’s achievement is more than a personal milestone. It’s a step forward for the entire industry.

We’re proud to have Negin leading by example and continuing to break barriers within rope access.

Another successful demonstration of what sets us apart.

On this complex industrial site in NSW, KTV Working Drones Australia clearly showcased the advantages of drone-enabled façade and asset cleaning. These environments are typically difficult to access – but with our drones, we were able to cover the majority of the site without the need to work at heights.

For the few areas that required it, our experienced rope access team can step in.
