16 years with Marvin, one year without ❤️‍🩹and it has honestly been so brutal. 

I wish I had some positive words of wisdom on how to get through the loss of a soul dog, and share that there is light at the end of the tunnel. But I miss him every day, I am sad he is gone every day, and I hate it. 

I am lucky to have so many photos and videos of him, but I hate how far back in my camera roll they now are.

I am lucky I had him for so many years, and have so many beautiful memories with him, but I hate that there won’t be any more. 

I have heard over and over that grief is love with nowhere to go. I understand why people say that now.
I wasn’t done loving Marvin yet, and I don’t know what to do with that love now. 

I have learnt that grief isn’t really about death, it is about the unwanted change we are suddenly forced to endure. 

Marvin was woven into the fabric of my everyday life for 16 years, he still is in many ways.

I now know that grief is the cost of love, and I know that I cannot pay it again.

A few of my favourite houseplants and how much sunlight they get in my home!
🌞my ‘bright light’ plants get a few hours of direct and bright indirect sunlight each day.
🌤️ My ‘medium light’ plants are in sunny and bright rooms but do not recieve direct sunlight throughout the day.
🌥️ my ‘low light’ houseplants are all in darker spaces. Remember low light does not mean no light! All houseplants need to see the sun to grow.

My Pilea, Begonia and Philodendron is all made of cuttings! I also have Pink Princess Philodendron, more Pileas and the Ficus Lyrata rooting and (not shown) the Neon Pothos, Pothos, Monstera adansonii, and White Princess Philodendron rooting too. 🌿💧☺️

A little spring plant care for my begonia, pink Princess, monstera Thai constellation, fiddle, ferns, hydro plants, pilea and neon pothos.
