Hieroglitch’s IIIII is rhythmic industrial techno as brutalist architecture. Four tracks of relentless, meditative beats created on Eurorack in a single take. The Melbourne producer channels Ancient Methods and Vatican Shadow energy into 20+ minutes of post-industrial soundscapes that function as both soundtrack and critique of modern labour.

Neo Dimes releases ‘Beasts’, a searing industrial anthem that confronts the radicalisation of young men in digital echo chambers. Built on drum ‘n’ bass rhythms layered harmonies and sitting somewhere between Depeche Mode and Deftones, the track uses its pop hooks to deliver an urgent warning on algorithmic isolation.

Released as the second single from debut album Alone (early 2026).

As FARNAKHT, Masha Von Farnakht channels hormonal upheaval and societal hostility through six tracks of relentless EBM, Power Noise, and industrial assault—music that claims space through sheer sonic force. From the pummelling dancefloor violence of ‘Chaos Kommt’ to the crushing finale of ‘Allein Im Dunkeln’.

A Chinese businessman in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

This scene from the documentary Empire of Dust (2011) captures the final confrontation between Lao Yang, a Chinese superintendent, and his Congolese counterpart. The film follows the massive undertaking of rebuilding the road between Kolwezi and Lubumbashi, a project plagued by a total lack of resources, equipment, and a deep cultural divide.

It highlights the brutal friction that occurs when high-pressure infrastructure goals meet a society struggling with systemic dysfunction. It’s a raw, uncomfortable look at the human cost of global expansion.

Kai Kaldro ‘Laceration Lounge’ Video Review.

“The film recalls an era when rock stars were genuinely dangerous. When figures like Marilyn Manson represented existential threats to suburban sensibilities, when the libertine excess of Steven Tyler and Mötley Crüe felt genuinely transgressive rather than quaintly dated. Yet Kaldro isn’t simply cosplaying past glories; he’s channelling that unrepentant, hedonistic spirit into something that feels vital and necessary in our current moment of artistic timidity and algorithmic homogenisation.”
