Exciting Update: Media Strategy's Latest Visual Media Project with Homes Victoria at Perry House!

We are thrilled to announce that Media Strategy has once again collaborated with Homes Victoria on an outstanding initiative, supporting Perry House. In partnership with Modscape, SEMZ, and Jesuit Social Services, this bold project culminated in an unforgettable day – the arrival of a new modular building at Perry House!

Perry House is a vital program run by Jesuit Social Services, dedicated to assisting young people with cognitive impairments in the justice system who are at risk of homelessness. This upgrade from the previous 90s brick home to a state-of-the-art modular facility marks a significant improvement in accessibility, comfort, and therapeutic support for its residents.

The new Perry House features private bathrooms, shared communal spaces, and breakout areas, ensuring a more inclusive and welcoming environment for young people of all genders. Constructed offsite at Modscape’s Brooklyn facility, the timber modules were seamlessly integrated into Perry House, showcasing innovative design and construction methods.

This transformative project was made possible by a Homes Victoria Youth Housing Capital Grant in collaboration with SEMZ, reflecting a shared commitment to creating positive social impact through innovative housing solutions.

From Zero to Commercial Pilot: Swinburne’s Comprehensive Courses

Swinburne University’s pilot courses are designed to transform students from novices to professional pilots. The curriculum offers extensive training, culminating in a commercial pilot license. Students train at the CAE Melbourne Flight Training School within Moorabbin Airport, benefiting from a busy airport setting that mimics real-world conditions. The school’s fleet of modern, glass cockpit-equipped aircraft and state-of-the-art simulators ensures that graduates are well-prepared for careers with commercial airlines.

Sunset Sounds

The City of Stonnington presented a stellar line-up of music royalty, two idyllic parks in Malvern East and Prahran.

Summer is sizzling in Stonnington which saw the return of Sunset Sounds for not one, but two free evenings of unforgettable live music set in the picturesque Central Park, Malvern East and the return of the much-loved concert location in Victoria Gardens, Prahran. These parklands are the perfect setting for picnic tunes and slow dance moves at golden hour.

The series showcased established and emerging artists in blues, RnB, jazz, soul, folk and more.

Sunset Sounds has cemented its place as a highlight in the City of Stonnington's annual calendar. With lush green grass, summer vibes and a selection of Melbourne's finest food trucks, Sunset Sounds presents the perfect night out for music lovers of all ages.
