✨ A little breeder’s truth ✨

Yes, they’re breeding cats. And yes, I know that one day I’ll have to retire and rehome them — that’s part of ethical breeding. But that doesn’t mean I don’t love them deeply❤️

Breeding cats are different to pet cats, and it took me a while (like most new breeders) to really understand that. The bond, the purpose, the care — it’s all a little different. But different doesn’t mean less.

Take my girl Vakker Zia — my very first breeding queen. I call her Aziza, which in Arabic means “dearest”. And that’s exactly what she is to me… my dearest. 🐾👑

She may be a breeding cat, but she’s also family, and she will always hold a very special place in my heart 💕

Just because it doesn’t make it onto socials… doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen 😹 Our kittens get full run of the house — and trust me, they take full advantage of it!
Zoomies, wrestling, climbing, and turning the place into their own playground 🙈
And I love it… even though they trip me over a few times 🙄🤣

✨ 7 weeks post-surgery and still recovering…

It’s bittersweet — my babies haven’t had their raw in the last 3 weeks, since the last batch I made on 2nd July ran out 😢

Back at it tonight, starting slow… (these meats have already been frozen for 3 weeks and thawed-so just adding the essentials before serving 👌

And let me tell you… I definitely prefer the post-raw litter trays 🤣
