Today we swapped the factory bash plate on a Denza B5 for a Savage 5.5mm aluminium plate. The original? Thin enough to worry about on anything rougher than a gravel road.

The Savage plate is thicker — proper protection for the generator sump, transfer case, EHS hybrid system and all the expensive bits underneath. If you’re taking a DENZA off-road, this is one of the first mods you should do.
