The 82nd anniversary of the Lahore Resolution brings countless reasons to celebrate a strong, resilient, and invincible nation. Pakistan Resolution Day is celebrated every year with much gratitude and pride to commemorate the struggle and sacrifices of Muslims who dedicated their lives to creating a separate homeland. The Pakistan movement started letter and spirit on March 23, 1940, leading up to the 14th of August 1947 when Pakistan finally came into being as an independent country. To commemorate Pakistan Day the article presents a reflection of history, the theoretical context of Two-Nations Theory, and the significance of Pakistan Resolution Day in the lives of Pakistanis.
On this day, in 1956 Pakistan’s first constitution was also adopted during the transition of the Dominion of Pakistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, making Pakistan the world’s first Islamic republic.

Azerbaijan government has announced an e-visa facility for Pakistani nationals.

“Happy to announce that Azerbaijan is open to brotherly Pakistan. Now e-visa system is applicable to all. Welcome to Azerbaijan!” the ambassador said on Twitter.

The news comes only hours after Pakistan's envoy to Azerbaijan, Bilal Hayee, said the two nations were planning to start direct flights in the near future.

"We hope to be able to resume and launch direct flights between Pakistan and Azerbaijan in the next months." This will be a major step forward in bringing the peoples of the two countries closer together," a Pakistani diplomat.
