We spent an afternoon in the studio with artist Nick Thomm capturing his creative process as part of the Google Gemini × Oscar Piastri helmet collaboration. Using Google Gemini as part of his design research, Nick developed ‘Thermal Shift’, a helmet design inspired by the thermal dynamics of Formula 1 racing. The finished helmet was worn by Oscar Piastri at the 2026 British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

Working with local brands is always a highlight. Bellroy is a Melbourne-based brand with roots in Jan Juc, Victoria and Fitzroy. Bellroy creates thoughtfully designed bags and carry essentials made for work, travel and daily life. Bellroy engaged us to shoot a series of ‘day in the life’ films, following three characters and the moments that shape their everyday with Bellroy’s products subtly woven into each story. A fun shoot with a great bunch of people!

We’ve been a little slack on the socials of late and have some serious catching up to do!

We’ll start with our first job of the year.

A Melbourne tradition of sorts, the year often begins with a project connected to the Australian Open.

This year was no different, kicking off with a campaign shoot for Nike.

A week based at Nike HQ in Melbourne with lots of waiting for athletes to arrive and far too many coffees in between from the in-house coffee cart.

Luminaire Pictures produced a bunch of short social pieces around Nike’s Mind 001 and Rituals campaign featuring athletes Carlos Alcaraz, Naomi Osaka, Aryna Sabalenka, Jannik Sinner and Amanda Anisimova.

Moving forward, maybe we’ll post more frequently.
