Spent the most delightful time with my girls at the charming Cafe!

The food? Absolutely divine! Every bite was a burst of flavour, and our taste buds did a happy dance.

One thing that I always take pride in is to cook without box mixes. On the journey of getting mature in cooking I now cook all tge dishes without bix mixes. And beleive me or not they do taste amazing. I am not against using box mixes as I myself started cooking with them initially but now don't enjoy using them.
My mother used to make best Deghi Qorma and I always wanted to learn her style. It might not be the same flavour but it surely is very close to it.
Presenting to you our family favourite danedar deghi qorma.

It is served with tandori naan usually but kids in our house love it with sheermal or taftan.

Since my childhood I have a craze for eating sweets. And by sweets I mean desi sweets thatvwas cooked by the elder ladies in our home. Out of all the long list of desi sweets is one of my most favourite sweet

AKA Samolina biscuit.

It is a bit triky to make but certainly an easy dessert with a balance of sweet. Can be eaten at tea time with tea, a very hit lunchbox item for school hoing kids, also it is eaten with kheer (rice pudding).

Scince I make them quite frequently my family just loves it.

The love of biscoff continues. Another Lotus biscoff cake for my husband's birthday. Every body loved it and instantly fell in love with it.

Time for some Indonesian style
Nasi Goreng with Ayam Bakar.
Nasi Goreng is fried yellow rice with peanut sauce, served with a fried on top of it.
For extra spice I like to have it with sambal which is a heavenly chilli sauce.
Ayam Bakar is the fried chicken that compliments the dish over all.

Its so hot here in Melbourne that we couldn't resist having Falooda multiple times a week.
It was really a blessing to have it and kill the heat.
