Dad is helping

Dad is helping We are helping new migrants, new parents, and "new dads" to help their partners care for the newborn Let us build a community of helping dads.

Being a migrant and a first-time parent, it has been a challenge to mix Indian and Australian traditions into a one-perfect parenting recipe. As a Registered Nurse with previous experience in the creative arts and health and fitness industry, I decided to share our parenting journey and educate others in the same boat, by adding a pinch of fun and entertainment as we move along. Being a dad has it

s own challenges, pleasure, and fun of sleepless nights. In between all this struggle, we need to juggle our professional lives to put food on the table. I want all the dads to share their experience of parenthood with other first-time parents. I want all the dads to be their best version and consider themselves the best dads in the world. I would love to see dads as the real heroes for their children. I will work hard to bring valuable and practical information from different domains, i.e. health, culture, history, parenting, and traditional rituals. I will strive to bring all this with a lot of fun and entertainment to alleviate some stress from your busy lives. Postnatal depression has a high prevalence in migrant communities, Few of my friends have seen the worse of it and still trying to find their feet. I hope with the information and knowledge shared via our social channels, dads will have access to adequate resources to help their partners in nursing a newborn. Together, we can become great parents, foster healthy relationships and nurture happy families.
