If you're in Brisbane this weekend, or can be - you're invited to Wittonga Park (setting for the episode 'Cricket') in The Gap to Play the Bluey Way. The weekend will feature a series of performances, games and character appearances from Bluey and Bingo at a free community event running across the weekend of 26-27 September.
Across the two-day event, Wittonga Park will transform into a playful Bluey-inspired experience, encouraging families to get outdoors, connect and play together through a series of games, performances, photo opportunities and activities inspired by Bluey!
The park will be divided into four interactive activity zones - Dance Mode, Cricket, Toilet Tag and Keepy Uppy!
Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner said, "Brisbane is proud to be the home of Bluey, and we're delighted to welcome families to Wittonga Park for this special community event. The mural and pop-up play experience will create another wonderful reason for residents and visitors to come together, enjoy our great parks and celebrate one of Brisbane's most-loved cultural success stories."
The Brisbane event forms part of Play the Bluey Way, a global campaign from BBC Studios inspired by the beloved animated series. The campaign encourages families everywhere to embrace more play, connection and fun in their everyday lives through real-world activations, digital experiences, partnerships and at-home inspiration.
