Today, we mourn the loss of , whose raw energy and fearless spirit shaped my early years as an aspiring musician . I’ll never forget the moment my uncle cranked “War Pigs” and “Iron Man” on his Cerwin Vega speakers, the vinyl spinning on a diamond-tip needle turntable, shaking my soul and igniting a lifelong love for heavy metal.
Though it’s a sad day for millions of fans, I’m grateful Ozzy fulfilled his promise, delivering his epic “Back to the Beginning” farewell concert on July 5, 2025, in Birmingham. That historic show, with Black Sabbath and rock’s biggest names, reignited the fire of rock for a new generation. His legacy will live on forever.
Rest in peace, legend. 🤘
