USM is a cultural movement in music designed to train, develop and produce independent professional musicians, artists, producers, educators and music entrepreneurs. Founded in 2009, USM has transformed the lives of thousands of musicians on their journey to becoming professionals in the new music industry.
Our team has worked with institutions such as Berklee College, JMC, Universal Music, Sony and several independent labels, agencies and venues in Australia and internationally for over 20 years. USM specialises in private music teaching, mentoring, group coaching, artist development, marketing, music production, songwriting, performance and music pedagogy through a series of trainings spread across 3 phases;
Phase 1: Master Your Craft
Develop all facets of becoming a modern musician and apply everything you learn so you can experience what it’s truly like to be a musician.
Phase 2.1: Record, Produce & Release Your Music, Service or Product
Develop, Record, Produce & Release Your Music, Act, Merch, Media (EPK/Website), Message, Service or Product
Phase 2.2: Launch Your Career
Collaborate with artists, songwriters, producers, mentors and create professional relationships to build your network, build social presence and grow your audience.
Make the transition from amateur to professional and start your career with artist mentoring and development. This phase will help you develop and test your product or service in your niche market in preparation for phase 3.
Phase 3: Go Professional
Make the transition to full time professional. Learn how to sell and monetize your product or service with advanced marketing, sales and business strategies.
