You’re 💯right Tom MacDonald. This one feels personal for this exact reason.

On behalf of all the artists out there with a voice, who know that deep down, they want to make a difference-this one’s for you.

I didn’t know Charlie Kirk.

I spoke to him maybe 4 or 5 times.

Even so, this has all felt so intensely personal…as I’m sure it has for many of you.

Most of us never shook the man’s hand or sat at a table with him…but somehow, he still felt like a friend to millions.

He gave a home to so many people who felt like outcasts because of their opinions. He spoke for so many people whose own voices would otherwise never be heard.

He was a father and a husband and a commentator…but he was also a symbol. For free speech, civil discord, country and faith.

Don’t feel strange because this is hitting you in a deeper place than you would have expected. This one feels different because it IS different.

He wasn’t a president or a politician. He was just a man with a voice and no fear of using it. That’s why this feels so familiar.

He represented who many people ARE…and who even more aspire to be.

Don’t respond out of anger or with violence…instead, move forward with grace and with logic. As he did for so many years.

That’s why we’re inviting you — friends, families, and neighbours — to join us on Sunday at 2:00 PM for one powerful hour of togetherness.

We’ll gather, share stories about what the park means to us, and show that this space truly belongs to the community. Journalists will be invited, and we’ll capture short testimonials to remind decision-makers that the park is valued and loved.
