It was great to catch up with my good friend and Top Fuel Drag Racing legend Graeme Cowin at Rocket Industries whilst we were up at the Muscle Car Masters on the weekend. It was a real privilege to be given a guided tour of the new Rocket Industries/Aeroflow Performance Products facility by the man himself and also a tour of the race shop with Rocket Industries CEO and Funny Car Driver Morice Mcmillin.

Located just around the corner from Sydney Motorsport Park, we couldn’t resist dropping in to say hello on the way home. They’ve been great supporters over the years and not too many people will let you drive one of their nitro funny cars, an experience I’ll never forget and am forever grateful for.

We’re at the Apex Steel Australian Muscle Car Masters at Sydney Motorsport Park. Today is a very special and emotional day for me, as I’ve been reunited with my Dads original Group C Mazda RX3 from back in the day! It’s been 46 years since Ive seen it in the flesh and the current owner Lloyd Williams has done a spectacular job on restoring it back to its former glory, in my Dads ATCC livery.

With my good friend Alan How, the man in charge at Creative Custom Cars in Dromana.
I dropped in to say hello in the XY today and I have to say, some of the ground up builds in this shop are mind blowing! They even have one of two existing Holden GTR-X prototypes, undergoing a full resto. That’s a car I cant wait to feature!

Our latest 2026 Winton Festival of Speed episode is live!

In this episode, we take an in-depth look at the incredible Fred Geissler VH Commodore, a genuine Group C touring car with history in both the Australian Touring Car Championship and the James Hardie 1000 at Bathurst.

Built and raced by NSW Holden dealer and driver Fred Geissler through the early-to-mid 1980s, the #52 Commodore went into battle against some of the biggest names and fastest touring cars of the era, with Geissler joined at Bathurst by co-driver Ralph Radburn.
