🔍 Hey MAV exhibitors, tutors, and professional learning partners—this one’s for you!

In our work at MAV, we see just how valuable strong survey data is for planning, advocacy and making the case for better support for small businesses like yours. That’s why the COSBOA Small Business Perspectives Report is so important.

It collects real stories from small business owners—what’s working, what’s not, and where support is most needed. This info feeds straight into shaping government policy and backing the services that matter.

🗣️ If you run a small business—whether you're an education consultant, event exhibitor, tutor, or PD provider—your voice counts.

It takes just 10 minutes, and your input can help shape a better future for small businesses across Australia.

This morning MAV Consultant, Renee Ladner and David Cook were welcomed with open arms to our Maths Active School, Derrimut Primary School. Sarah Pinder is the Numeracy Leader at the school and has been working hard to develop a culture of learning and planning from contemporary research, engaging the community in the mathematics, creating rich learning opportunities for all students, setting high expectations and most of all working with all staff at their point of need.

MAV and Derrimut Primary School have had a long relationship and it has been wonderful to see the school’s journey to where they are today. Sarah said “learning is always happening and evolving” for both teachers and students and this belief is evident in the way the school is prioritising the planning and teaching Mathematics whilst embracing the nuances that each class and level bring.

MAV is passionate about checking in with our Maths Active Schools (MAS) to celebrate their successes and be a point of contact to assist the next steps in becoming even stronger and driven towards excellence in Mathematics education.

Thank you to the staff that welcomed us into their classrooms, to the students that shared their thinking with us.
